James Eamon McKeown was born in Northampton to Irish parents in 1958.
At the age of fourteen his family left Kent to returned to his beloved Ireland where he finalised his formal education.
As a pupil of Tipperary's tech, he exeled as an athlete to become a national champion in various sprinting events, and was honoured to represent Ireland internationally.
James became a Saturation Diver in 1980 and during his career in engineering underwater for the oilfields of the North Sea etc, he studied Physics, Art, Philosophy and the Humanities. James resides in Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland.
